The West Basin Municipal Water District thoughtfully designed the “Change & Save” program as a diverse solution to educate residents on water efficiency. The Change & Save program is designed in English and Spanish to educate, promote, and inspire West Basin customers to save money and reduce water use by replacing old fixtures.

Faucets and appliances can waste water and cost you money. Change & Save provides FREE water-saving devices, and you can qualify for a up to $500 high-efficiency clothes washer rebate.

Install low-flow fixtures - Lower your water utility bills.
Going low flow does not mean low pressure or reduced functionality. Installing low-flow showerheads and faucets is simply a fast and easy way to save water and money.
Traditional kitchen and bathroom faucets run at a rate of about 4 gallons per minute. This flow can be adjusted to about 2.5 gallons per minute by installing a Change & Save low flow aerator on your faucets. Installation is easy, and you’ll start saving water and money right away.

High-efficiency washers (HE) feature technology that reduces the amount of water and energy needed to do a load of laundry. They use up to 80% less water than traditional, top-loading washers, deliver 65% energy savings, and wash more laundry in one go than the older traditional machines.
